The objective of the event is to establish and agree some concrete lessons
learned from activities addressing major emergencies in Pakistan and to
inform any future actions for key actors in the region. The timeliness of the
event is of particular pertinence given that the region is now anticipating a
further disruptive monsoon season in 2013.

*If you are interested, please confirm your attendance sending an e-mail to
claire.touron@ec.europa.eu [1], by 24 June.*

*You are welcome to contact Ms Claire Touron (02 29 90138) for any
questions.*

The event will also inaugurate the photo exhibition illustrating the efforts
led by the EU Instrument for Stability (IfS) in the context of the Floods
Recovery in Pakistan in the last three years. The photo exhibition will be
held as of 26 June at the ground floor of the EEAS building, Rond-point
Schuman 9A, under the auspices of HR/VP Ashton and of the IfS.
