Over 3,000 development officials have gathered in Busan, South Korea, this week for an important forum on aid effectiveness. According to Vice President of the World Bank Institute Sanjay Pradhan, who is attending the event, capacity development has yet to attain its full potential for changing societies.

Cooperation programmes of the European Commission involve staff, partners and expertise across the world. Sharing their capacity and knowledge is an investment to make the organisation more efficient and effective in meeting its development mandate, said DG EuropeAid Director Klaus Rudischhauser, who urged staff to use capacity4dev for collaboration and exchange.
