This 40th Brussels Briefing [1] will consider the implications of open data
for food and nutrition security and the impacts of the global data revolution
for agriculture. The increasing volume of real-time data represents both a
challenge and an opportunity for developing countries, and in particular,

The next Brussels Development Briefing on ‘Realising the Promise of
Agriculture for Africa’s Transformation’ will be held during the morning
of Friday 4 April 2014, at the Egmont Palace in Brussels. This 36th Briefing
is timed to coincide with the 4th Africa-EU Summit, and the panel is being
organised by the ACP-EU Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural
Cooperation (CTA), in collaboration with the European Commission and the AU
Commission.
