EuropeAid staff are encouraged to engage even more actively in the drive towards technical cooperation reform.

Francesca Mosca, Director of Directorate E in EuropeAid, gave a clear message to staff when she circulated a flyer, "Improving the Effectiveness of Technical Cooperation", detailing the progress of TC reform and implementation of the Backbone Strategy, earlier this year.

"I am sure that it is already part of your work to promote the Backbone principles," said Ms Mosca in the flyer. "The moment has come for all of us to advance this reform even more concretely."

Ms Mosca stressed that the delegations of the European Commission cannot move in isolation, and that the staff in Directorate E should strive to demonstrate quick results that can inspire others.

"I count on each of you to engage actively in this task," Ms Mosca said.
