CSOs in India Week
This week, capacity4dev.eu focuses on Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in India.
At the end of last year, Renée Zandvliet visited India where she met with representatives of over 15 EU-funded CSOs in Karnataka and Andra Pradesh in the South, and Uttar Pradesh and Delhi in the North. Working on human rights, health and livelihoods, these organisations are either direct beneficiaries of EU funding, or partners of direct beneficiaries.
Upon returning to Brussels, Renée, who is a consultant working with DEVCO's 'Civil Society and Local Authorities' unit, wrote two Voices & Views and one blog article about her experiences and the projects that she visited. These will be published during the week.
We encourage the organisations that Rénee visited and members of capacity4dev.eu working on any topics related to India, from CSOs to gender, to blog about their work and current issues.
Please visit and participate in the Public Group on Civil Society.
If you would like to take part in India Week and require any support, then please don't hesitate to contact the capacity4dev.eu Coordination Team using the category Suggestions.
Please note that in order to post blog articles about India Week, you will need to be a member of capacity4dev.eu and join a group (ideally the Public Group on Civil Society). Click here in order to create an account and join the online development community.
