2011 REPORT ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GENDER ACTION PLAN

THIS COMMISSION STAFF WORKING PAPER CONTAINS THE RESULTS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE "EU PLAN OF ACTION ONGENDER EQUALITY AND WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT IN DEVELOPMENT 2010-2015".

EU Member States, the Commission, the EEAS and EU Delegations must report annually to the Council on progress in implementing this Gender Action Plan. This report is the first comprehensive stock-taking exercise of what the EU is doing to mainstream gender equality in development cooperation and in policy/political dialogue in partner countries.
