Firm commitment Continues with Agreement for the Legal timber
The most representative products and advances in the various project results positioning Forest Governance in Colombia, such as monitoring control protocols, cubing guide, social engagement strategy, among others, were presented at the Committee Coordination and Monitoring Pact for Legal Timber in Colombia.
This is how the Project Positioning Forest Governance, funded by the European Union and managed by the Carder, remains steadfast in its commitment to promote legal timber, directly supporting the Covenant.
At the meeting of the Committee convened in Bogotá, participated on behalf of Forest Governance forest engineer Nelson Villota, who indicated that further discussed the rules of procedure, so they are planning a special session to finish fit and analyzing the report of the second year of covenant.
On the other hand, approved the work plan for the Technical Secretariat of the Covenant, in order to follow up on the commitments made by the signers, which are 76.
During the event, is also used to revise the agreement that exists between Carder and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
