World Soil Day

The 5th of December is proposed as World Soil Day by International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and UN General Assembly. This is the day to celebrate soil's relevance as a critical component of the ecosystem and as a vital contributor to human welfare.
