capture_16.png

Feeding into the preparations of the First Regional Dialogue on Climate Finance and Development Effectiveness in Latin America and the Caribbean, held on 2-4 May 2012 in Tela, Honduras, with support of the EuroClima program, a number of countries have systematized their climate finance experiences. In a first round, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua have completed country templates on climate change policies, in-country coordination and financial management (see annex 1). This summary, prepared by Nils-Sjard Schulz with the collaboration of Bryan Pratt, outlines common lessons and specific innovations from a cross-country perspective.
