2016_Seminar on Democracy: From electoral assistance to mainstreaming democracy (7-9/11/2016)

Page created by
Capacity4dev Team31 October 2016

This seminar aims at:

  • Creating an opportunity for participants to be updated on the latest EU policy developments and implementing tools related to democracy support in order to provide practical guidance to delegations in designing and implementing democracy support programmes at country-level.
  • Promoting a comprehensive and longer-term approach on democracy support (well beyond electoral assistance activities) and streamlining democracy in development projects related to other fields.
  • Opening a space for dialogue and encourage informal exchanges of views, experiences, challenges, and best practices on concrete cases to open new doors.
