The next PFD meeting, taking place in Jordan next month, will bring together different stakeholder groups from countries that have not yet participated in previous PFD meetings. The participants will then be initiated to the PFD mechanism of networking and consultation and taught its ways of working. The meeting will tackle a number of global issues on which the participants will debate and exchange, such as: the EU development policy including the recently adopted New European Consensus on Development and the European Neighbourhood Policy; the 2030 Agenda in the region and which regional factors must be prioritized to implement the SDGs.
