Uganda National Workshop on the WTO/ TBT Agreement

The EU-ACP TBT programme is currently implementing a capacity building project for the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS)  mainly aiming at improving the ability of national counterparts to timely notify to WTO all new and revised technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures.

As part of the project, training activities focused on TBT notification procedures addressed to UNBS staff were organized as well as  Training of Trainers session. A dedicated hand-holding capacity building activity was also carried out with the objective of supporting the office in the Notification of all revised technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures.

The project final Workshop will take place in Kampala on July 11th in the Africana Hotel to present the project results and achievements.
