Cost effectiveness of Budget Support

Dear all, I'm looking for studies that aim to compare the cost effectiveness of budget support relative to other aid modalities. Although inherently difficult to compare, there must have been some attempts, I presume using case studies, to find comparable unit costs of service delivery for different aid modalities? Grateful for any advice!
