As part of its efforts to strengthen the capacity to negotiate and access climate financing in West Africa, the Regional Centre AGRHYMET carried out training with stakeholders in West Africa on the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in the agriculture, forestry, and land-use sector. This guide was created from that work, and it summarizes the steps needed to create a CDM project in this sector. We like the document for its clear explanation designed for practitioners. We suggest the guide to anyone interested in understanding climate financing in the agriculture, forestry and land-use sectors.
