Declaration of the 1st Africa Congress on Conservation Agriculture 2014

In March 2014, our regional partner COMESA supported the first ever Africa Congress on Conservation Agriculture through its work with the African Conservation Tillage Network (ACT) in Lusaka, Zambia. 414 participants from 42 countries were in attendance to discuss climate smart agriculture technologies. Presentations from the meeting are available, and ACT hosts an online resource center as well. We like the two sites for their large number of informational documents on conservation agriculture, including training materials. We suggest the sites to anyone interested in conservation agriculture and adaptation measures for agriculture.
