Expert on development cooperation with + 12 years of professional experience in the field of cooperation and development policies (more than seven years working for the European Commission). Highly motivated by change processes with an eye for capacity development support and participatory approaches.
Solid experience gained in the field of public policy analysis in support to the identification, formulation and monitoring of national/sectoral support strategies, including the development of action plans and the design of policy performance frameworks. Experience in steering coordination and policy dialogue mechanisms among relevant stakeholders/partners and a good knowledge of methodological and operational approaches to institutional building and capacity development (e.g. peer-to-peer exchanges, mentoring, webinars, trainings, etc.). Practical knowledge of policy performance frameworks and results-based approaches including their relevant tools (Logframe, Budget, Risks matrix, Monitoring and Evaluation arrangements).
My work has been associated to different countries and regions, but with a particular focus on Latin America and ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific) countries. Versatility and adaptability to different sectors/areas but especially interested in gender, education and state reform and highly motivated by processes of evaluation.
