Video: The Centre of Excellence at Fayoum Farmer Field School in Egypt

At the European Development Days 2013, we had the pleasure of meeting Hatem Megahed Abdalla Farghali, who explained the work of the Centre of Excellence of the Farmer Field School in Fayoum, in the southern suburbs of Cairo, and how this model is being used for other areas of rural developent in Egypt. Gender is mainstreamed throughout this project.

Supported in Europe by the Wageningen UR, the project has been very successful, and is now looking into ways to become self sustaining.
