Empowering Vulnerable Groups through Education, Employment and Training (EET) – Final Evaluation ILO 2013

Raoof Ali, Samia, 2013, Empowering Vulnerable Groups through Education, Employment and Training (EET) – Final Evaluation, Evaluation Summary, ILO, Geneva.

The EET project implemented in Pakistan had three components, first, entrepreneurship through applying ILO’s Know About Business (KAB) tool, second, to promote Decent Work, implement employable Skills Programs and Labour Market Information & Analysis, third, Education and Legal Empowerment of Poor & vulnerable groups especially bonded labour & child labour.

Good Morning.

is it possible to have the ILO KAB tool contents or any presentation slides? Is this tool free to use for different actors or can its content can be delivered only by ILO?

Best regards.

Hi Anisa, as Mei correctly mentioned, the ILO does not provide these tools for free. You could contact the ILO SEED Department or Master Trainers active in your region to see how to get access to the tools.

Please note that the KAB tool is meant mainly for school education. In case your target group is out of school, you may want to have a look at the SYIB family (SIYB - Start and Improve Your Business, EYB - Expand Your Business, IYB - Improve Your Business, GYB - Generate Your Business Idea, etc.).

Best regards,

The IESF library has a number of tools on training, please have a look there and see where the tag says"tools"

Also check out a summary of the Know About Business tools. Unfortunately the ILO does not provide the the tools free to the public at this stage. They do provide training of trainers, however.
