Expert Meeting on Adapting Agriculture to Climate Change in Central Africa

The main objective of this seminar is to build the capacity of Central African States to tackle climate change challenges to agricultural production by means of proactive policies and approaches at the national and sub-regional levels. The event will bring together experts from central government services responsible for agricultural policies in the countries of the sub-region, as well as parliamentarians and representatives of diverse sub-regional and regional agencies and development partners, including: the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) Commission; the Secretariat General of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS); the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC); the Economic Commission on Cattle, Meat and Fish Resources in CEMAC (CEBEVIRHA); the African Centre of Meteorological Applications for Development (ACMAD); and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO).
