The Cost of Hunger in Africa (COHA) Study: Present and Future Perspective

From

The lunch-time conference will present the Cost of Hunger in Africa (COHA) study which shows the social and economic burden that comes with undernutrition and how this leads to significant losses of national economic growth in African countries. The COHA is a continentwide study that has so far been completed in 10 countries. This initiative is led by the African Union, under the coordination of NEPAD and in partnership with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the World Food Programme (WFP).
