Embedding climate change in EU development cooperation for food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture - State of Play 2016

In the framework of the Marrakech conference on Climate Change, the DG DEVCO, Unit C1, Rural Development, Food Security, Nutrition has produced a brief note on the "State of Play" of EU climate-relevant action in food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture (FNS&SA). 

The note informs on the EU financial contribution to support initiatives of adaptation and/or mitigation in FNS&SA domain and it summarises the  EU’s overall approach and response, by providing diverse examples of climate relevant initiatives undertaken at country and global level (adaptation along value chain – AgriFI -, Sustainable Land Management in Ethiopia, agroforestry in Timor-Leste, etc.)
