Rehabilitation is often regarded as the process that links relief and development, but persistent challenges in the so-called "transition" from relief to development indicate the need to develop greater clarity as to what rehabilitation ought to be about, particularly in chronic conflict and post-conflict (CC&PC) situations. his paper examines the key issues necessary to develop a conceptual understanding of agricultural rehabilitation, and highlights some of the practical challenges in planning and implementing agricultural rehabilitation in chronic conflict and post-conflict (CC&PC) situations.
