Assessment of the world food security and nutrition situation

This document was drawn up by the Food Security Committee that met from 14th to 17th October in Rome. It presents an analysis of the increase in food prices and impacts globally, nationally and on households. It also reviews responses set up and proposes short, medium and long term actions.
