How to start a group

Groups are communities or work spaces that allow online collaboration and exchanges. If you would like to create a new space, we recommend you first check to see if there is not already an existing Group that deals with your topic or region. Groups can be seen by anyone visiting the site, restricted to certain organisations, or private (more on Group permissions).

To create a Group, follow these quick steps:

  1. Select the Create a Group link on the GROUPS page
  2. Complete and submit your Group details
  3. You will receive an e-mail to confirm your submission
  4. Your request will be treated by the Capacity4dev team
  5. You will receive an e-mail with a decision
  6. If your request is approved: your Group will enter into Draft status
  7. You can find detailed guidance on managing groups in a dedicated restricted space (contact us for details)
