About
I'm interested in making humanitarian and development assistance work better for people affected by man-made and natural disasters.
I joined a policy unit at the European Commission, DG ECHO (Unit C1) after having gained experience as a consultant for ADE s.a on linking humanitarian aid and development cooperation for methodological support and training programmes of DG DEVCO.
My working areas/areas of interest are: Linking Humanitarian Aid and Development/"Nexus"/Resilience, Cash Transfer, Basic Needs Assessment, Context for Development, Political Economy Analysis (PEA), Monitoring & Evaluation, Child Rights -- especially for children and adolescents workers (I co-founded an association in Brussels on this matter).
My background
Before moving to Brussels, I worked in Lima for 2 years with a Peruvian organisation (MANTHOC), coordinating the preparation of projects, establishing partnerships and accompanying child and adolescent workers.
I went on a mission for UNESCO to coordinate a "Socio-Educational Project for Street Children" in Guinea (Kankan); and I prepared technical guidelines at the International Labour Office (ILO) in Geneva for a proposed collaboration between two Programmes.
I graduated with honours in Development Cooperation, at la Sorbonne in 2006.
