Boba Markovic Baluchova

Dr. Boba Markovic Baluchova is Slovak researcher, university lecturer and global journalist collaborating with European nonprofit, as well as academia sector. She currently works as a communication manager for Slovak Platform for development organizations – Ambrela (responsible mostly for the 'Faces of migration' campaign). In past she worked for UNDP for Europe and CIS, Caritas Slovakia, ADRA Slovakia and several European universities. In 2011 she founded the award-winning ‘Media about Development’ blogging platform – publishing hope-based stories about international development topics. In addition, she conducts trainings for future journalists and international volunteers on community development, global journalism, as well as media and information literacy.
