#GreeningEUcooperation: International Day of the Tropics

Who needs nature the most? 30% of the population in tropical countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, are highly dependent on nature for basic human needs like clean water, energy for cooking, shelter and livelihoods. These populations are known to be the most directly affected by environmental degradation, deforestation, and climate change.

On the International Day of the Tropics, we invite you to take a look at the following infographic to find inspiration to put nature at the heart of sustainable development policy dialogue, strategies and programmes.
