OUR WAKE-UP CALL TO TACKLE THE GLOBAL WATER CRISIS !

This position paper, developed by the Butterfly Effect NGO coalition, presents the key advocacy demands that emerged from a broad consultation process conducted between March 2021 and March 2022.
This process mobilised more than 200 representatives of international water civil society and resulted in the development of 5 major policy demands, directed to States and the international water community.
These demands are being promoted by the coalition within international water platforms, such as the World Water Forum or the 2023 UN Water Conference.
