Conflict Sensitivity Guidance Notes DG INTPA European Commission

This set of Guidance Notes updates key sections of the 2015 EU Staff Handbook on Operating in Situations of Conflict and Fragility, especially those with a more practical focus. Therefore the CS Guidance Notes aim at supporting conflict sensitivity assessments in EU Delegations and Headquarters in relation to specific programmes - and along the programme cycle - while also providing an initial guidance in specific sectors or thematic areas. The NDICI Global Europe has set a variety of requirements in relation to conflict sensitive programming. These notes also intend to facilitate the follow up on specific recommendations stemming from mandatory conflict analyses for fragile and conflict affected countries.
