Telling the GCCA+ story: new guidelines
These GCCA+ Communication and Knowledge Management Guidelines are to be read and enjoyed. When dealing with climate change, learning from others, exposure to best practices, fresh information and new winning ideas are fundamental.
Communicating Europe’s role as a global player and major aid donor is one of the tasks for EU-funded projects. This is not simply to ensure accountability to the European taxpayers, but also to share the benefits of your project with a wider public.
This is the reason why, for the Global Climate Change Alliance Plus (GCCA+), communication and knowledge sharing plays a fundamental role in fulfilling this EU flagship initiative’s main goal, which is helping to build resilience to climate change in the most vulnerable countries.
These guidelines, which have been drawn up for projects funded by the GCCA+, should answer most of the questions on what is expected from them in terms of communication, how to do it and where to find more answers. The GCCA+ Support Facility Team hopes they will prove useful.
