“EU one year down the road – Haben wir es geschafft?” Stocktaking of the response to the refugee and migrant situation in Europe.

One year after Ms Merkel’s famous quote “Wir schaffen das!” (“We will manage it!”) it is time to review and take stock. On the backdrop of the World Humanitarian Summit, UN Summit for Refugees and Migrants, and numerous reform processes at the EU level the Danish Refugee Council is inviting for a panel debate to analyse the state of affairs, and the linkages of the EU policy trends with the global debate.

The event will also mark the 60 year’s anniversary of DRC and the official opening of the DRC Brussels Representation.

The panel debate will be followed by a reception.
