It’s a wrap: missions in support of results collection 2019/2020 have ended

One of the services provided through the new Results Oriented Monitoring (ROM) system supports the collection, encoding, and quality control of data on key results from EU-funded interventions. This is serving the double purpose of enhancing results-based internal monitoring and reporting, at intervention level, as well as feeding with data the results indicators of the EU Results Framework (EU RF) at corporate level. The latter are then published by the EU and presented as part of the EU external action’s annual report.

Missions to collect this year’s results data took place from October 2019 to March 2020. They reached 109 EU delegations, and 23 units at DG DEVCO and DG NEAR headquarters in Brussels, for an overall number of 2,762 interventions.

The last field visits ended in March 2020 and Quality Control on data by the Commission services is nearly completed at the time of writing. The final numbers for the EU Results Framework will be published later this year.
