In country leafletWhat does the European Commission’s reform of technical cooperation mean for in-country partners? This digested paper offers some guidance.

The European Commission is reforming how it works with technical cooperation, and at headquarters a number of policy documents and guidance notes have been produced to keep staff and other interested parties up to date.

The latest publication is a new short leaflet, “Making Technical Cooperation More Effective”, which in seven easy to read pages summarises the main messages and goals of the reform and what they mean for in-country partners.

The paper also suggests what in-country partners can do to make technical cooperation more effective.

The leaflet complements the already printed “Reforming Technical Cooperation and Programme Implementation Arrangements: A Backbone Strategy” and related Guidelines on Making Technical Cooperation More Effective.
