Shared environmental information system and green growth

The OECD/UNECE workshop on Shared Environmental Information System and Green Growth aims to help recognize the importance of effective data and information sharing going beyond the mere field of environment and its protection and, at the same time, through synergies, support the developments in green growth/economy. This work will further contribute to the development of a strategic framework for greening the economy requested for the pan-European region under the leadership of UNEP and UNECE and in cooperation with partner organizations. Such framework should comprise a monitoring system based on commonly accepted indicators to measure progress.
