Promoting better environmental performance of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

The meeting discusses the draft SME Greening Guide for the European Union's Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) prepared by the OECD. The SMEs greening guide aims to help EaP countries design and implement key instruments to promote environmental compliance and green business practices among SMEs. The target audience includes key government stakeholders, business associations as well as non-governmental and academic institutions in EaP countries. The meeting is organised within the EU-funded programme “Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood” (EaP GREEN).
