Capacity Building Workshop for African Journalists on Multilateral Agreements

The event gathered 55 participants from 14 countries (Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa, Botswana, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ghana). Facilitators and resource persons included established environmental journalists, environmental lawyers, representatives from civil society, government implementing agencies and institution of higher learning. A ‘’Handbook for African Journalists on Multilateral Environmental Agreements’’ was produced by ECI and distributed to the workshop’s participants.
