Newsletters from UNEP and MEAs hosted by UNEP

To promote and facilitate sound environmental management for sustainable development, UN Environment Programme’s global and cross-sectoral outlook is reflected in its organizational structure, its activities and its personnel. UNEP has a few newsletters which are periodically sent out. More information on the offices, bodies, agencies, secretariats and divisions – mentioned in this article – can be found here.

1.** NEW: 2022: Stockholm+50 **

2022 marks an important year for environmental milestones, including in June, the Stockholm+50 international conference will take place from 2-3 June followed by celebrations of World Environment Day(5 June).

2. Regional Offices

UN Environment Programme (UNEP) has six regional offices – the Africa Office; Asia and Pacific Office; Europe Office; Latin America and the Caribbean Office; and the West Asia Office – who contribute to the corporate newsletter.

3. Secretariats

Chemicals and waste
