ICT & Space

ICTs are promoted in development cooperation efforts because more than 3 billion people can't afford communication services or live in rural and remote areas, where access to information and communication technologies is scarce or absent. ICTs fall into four main categories: computing and information technology, broadcasting, telecommunications and internet.
