Abstract: This policy document is a research work conducted by the Community Research and Development Centre (CREDC) in three major cities in Nigeria. Having discovered the energy efficiency policy and research gaps in the Nigerian system, the CREDC in 2009 designed and embarked on a research to provide guidelines for developing energy efficiency policy and legislation in the all sectors of the Nigerian economy. In this study, CREDC focused on the management of electricity.
