I have experience working in rural development issues and projects in East Africa, Central America, Palestine, Pacific, India and Madagascar, working for a variety of institutions and organizations such as UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the French Ministry of Agriculture, South Pacific Community, NGOs, etc. In Nicaragua, I contributed to the development of a national plan of school gardens which included integration of nutrition in the education curriculum. I also formulated projects with a focus on nutritional care for people living with HIV/AIDS. As the Peace Building Fund coordinator in Burundi, I managed an aquaculture and fishery project which successfully experiment new drying techniques to keep the best nutritional value and guarantee access to affordable proteins.
