A sociologist and journalist by training, Jean-Louis Lambeau has, over the past 30 years, regularly served as a team leader and advisor to the United Nations and international NGOs in the context of development cooperation and humanitarian programmes in Africa, Latin America and Asia to provide access to basic services for the most vulnerable populations. As part of the ILO's Social Protection Team, and in the context of Just Transition, he is currently working on topics related to the humanitarian and development nexus, and climate change.
