EuropeAid conference: Peace Education for Conflict Prevention

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7 recognises Peace Education as a key tool for sustainable peace and development. With its Integrated Approach to External Conflicts and Crisis and commitment to SDGs, the EU promotes Peace Education as a long-term engagement for transformative peacebuilding. This InfoPoint conference will address the status of peace education and how it is applied in the Great Lakes region. The conference will present ways and examples for the EU to use peace education as an efficient conflict prevention tool.
