Exchange Hub for Commission supported DEAR projects
On Thursday and Friday 23rd and 24th March a workshop style event will take place in Brussels with all ongoing Commission supported DEAR projects. Project managers of the Development Education and Awareness Raising actions that received a grant from the 2013 Call for Proposals will take a day and a half to reflect on their contributions to the objectives of the DEAR Programme.
After the networking and knowledge sharing events in May 2015 and in June 2016, this will be a further opportunity for ongoing projects to share their contributions to the Commission’s Development Education & Awareness Raising agenda. A particular focus will be on the risks faced by projects during implementation and on the best approaches to address and overcome these risks.
The report of the event, with the main learnings, highlights of the discussion and participants’ interventions will be shared here at the Capacity4Development DEAR Programme group.
During the Spring and early Summer of this year a series of small-scale events will also take place. These events focus on thematics such as Monitoring & Evaluation of DEAR projects, DEAR approaches to engage the public in the SDGs, and on the management of sub-granting schemes. All findings and reports of these events will be posted here. Outcomes of the events will also be shared with the new DEAR projects that will be receiving a grant from the 2016 Call for Proposals at their Inception seminar in the Autumn of the year.
