Governance & Corruption

Governance is at the core of European Union development cooperation actions and it is mainstreamed and reinforced through policy dialogue and cooperation programmes. A human rights based approach will be followed in promoting key good governance principles, such as the right to universal and non-discriminatory access to basic public services, participation in democratic processes, consultation, transparency and accountability, justice and the rule of law.
