This paper summarises key demands to strengthen homeworkers decent work conditions. Paper includes short overview of conditions of home based workers. Demands include: Recognition as workers; representation (participation) as homeworkers; participation in rule setting and policy making; freedom of association; collective bargaining agreements; secure, written, transparent contracts; fair piece rates; protection from harmful practices; employment benefits; social protection; occupational safety and health; codes of conduct.
