
Vladyslav Zhezherin
Vladyslav Zhezherin is an independent consultant on climate change and energy efficiency policy. He has focused on climate change since 2003 when he did his MSc dissertation at Oxford University. Currently he works as a national coordinator in Ukraine for Clima East project, a technical assistance project funded by EU. Recently Vladyslav has been also involved in several policy research projects. During the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol he worked on greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction project identification and development. Prior to that he was an analyst at Point Carbon, a leading provider of news and analysis for carbon markets, where he focused on international and national climate policy developments in Central and Eastern European countries related to Joint Implementation. Vladyslav also has experience in GHG emissions inventories, which he gained during his work with the Agency for Rational Energy Use and Ecology (ARENA-ECO).
