
Sarah Eva Douik
As Information Correspondent in DG DEVCO, my role is to support and facilitate communication on Sub-Saharan Africa, ACP horizontal matters and Panafrican issues.
I have a background is in Economics, Development Studies and International Relations. I graduated from the LSE in Development Project Management in 2003. Since then, I have applied my knowledge of development policies in the context of economic, political and social transition in Western Balkans and EU policy making.
Throughout my career, I have interacted repeatedly with the media (e.g. interviews with TV journalists, radio, the press and Web magazines). I have also delivered several public speeches on behalf of different institutions in Brussels and other EU capital cities. For the past 6 years, I have developed my expertise in EU humanitarian aid and development assistance. I have also gained experience as an international team leader. I have engaged actively in EU advocacy and lobbying.
