
Craig Hodges
Originally from Australia, Craig has lived and worked in Asia for 5 years. Initially he studied in Japan under the Rotary International program at Komaki Minami High School, before independently returning to study Soto-sect Zen Buddhism at Fukugonji Temple. He read psychology and politics at Flinders University and Japanese studies at Adelaide University. At Melbourne University he focused on International Studies as part of a Media & Communications degree he has deferred. Formerly he was an active committee member of both the Australian Institute of International Affairs (Victoria) and the Australia-Japan Society of Victoria. He has contributed to news, current affairs and documentary television programs in Australia, the UK and Japan. His current affairs, social commentary and cultural travel articles have appeared in Australian, Vietnamese and international publications. Since June 2012 he has been based in Yangon Myanmar researching the development of a specialized business consultancy and the development of a monthly report series the 'Myanmar Insiders Report'.
