EuropeAid conference: Putting a stop to school-related gender-based violence

From

School-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) affects millions of children around the world. InfoPoint Lunchtime conference will present global commitments to putting a stop to SRGBV, which encompasses acts or threats of violence that are sexual, physical or psychological in nature, fuelled by persisting gender norms and stereotypes, and enforced by unequal power dynamics. Local strategies to eliminate SRGBV will also be explore dand discussed during the conference with case studies from Cambodia, Vietnam and Suriname.
