Lunchtime talk at EuropeAid Infopoint: Pathways and obstacles to natural resources management in DR Congo

Researcher Theodore Trefon will present his treasure trove of findings about the status and trends of natural resources in the DR Congo, as presented in an important new book: Congo's Environmental Paradox - Potential and Predation in a Land of Plenty (Zed Books).
Trefon is a senior researcher at the Belgian Royal Museum for Central Africa and lecturer in environmental governance at ERAIFT/University of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has published a number of articles and books in French and English.
